-the identification tag must first be oriented in the yoke area
-wrap locking straps around the headset tube and push firmly through loops behind the face plate
-tighten the locking straps until the identification tag is securely attached to the yoke area of your stethoscope
-write your name on the plates, then stick it on the name tag.

Most of us tend to use patient id tags to identify our stethoscopes. I have learnt the hard way as I am now on my 7th stethoscope. This tag attaches to the yoke of your stethoscope. It is identical to the littmann tag but half the price. Essential to prevent losing your prized possesion.
